The Mehndi ceremony was attended by over 50 women (!) and was filled with food, music, and dancing. A great start to our wedding weekend..

The engagement and sangeet consisted of a religious ceremony, dinner, and variety show performed by our friends and family from the bay area who did a great job!

The Wedding Ceremony
October 8th, 2004 (Morning)
Our wedding took place at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in beautiful Malibu, Ca. on Friday, October 8th, 2004. The wedding was attended by over 400 people and lasted for over 3 hours! Below are some pictures and other souvenirs from our wedding. Enjoy!

The Wedding Reception @ Hotel Casa Del Mar

No wedding reception would be complete without non-stop dancing, embarrassing speeches and.. a Brazilian band? We had a wonderful time at the reception and judging from these pictures, we think others did too!

Our Honeymoon (October 14 - November 2)
After the wedding, we took off to Asia with our parents(!) for our honeymoon and went on a 3-week journey through Singapore, India, and the Maldives. Our experiences ranged from having high tea at the beautiful Raffles Hotel in Singapore, riding on camels over the dunes of Jodhpur, visiting the incredible Taj Mahal, and scuba diving in the Indian Ocean!
